Hey everyone, it is Drew, welcome to my recipe page. Today, I’m gonna show you how to prepare a distinctive dish, tri -colour cake. One of my favorites. This time, I’m gonna make it a little bit unique. This is gonna smell and look delicious.
Tricolor Cake Just like your favorite Italian bakery cookie, but much, much larger! Three layers of almond sponge cake filled with a raspberry jam. Covered in a rich dark chocolate glacage. Bringing the tradition of sharing Christmas cookies and impressive, colorful cakes together, this tri-color confection recipe is not only ultra cheery, but also extremely delicious.

The ingredients needed to make Tri -Colour Cake:

- Make ready 130 grams(1 cup) All purpose Flour (Maida)
- Make ready 2 tbsp Powdered Sugar
- Make ready 200 ml Condensed Milk
- Prepare 100 grams Soft Butter
- Get 100 ml(1/2 cup) Water
- Make ready 2 tbsp White Vinegar
- Make ready 1/2 tsp Baking Soda
- Take 1 tsp Baking Powder
- Get 1 tsp Vanilla Essence
- Prepare As needed Liquid Food Colours-orange and green
- Prepare For Icing:
- Get as needed Whipped Cream
- Prepare For Sugar Syrup (1 tbsp Sugar + 2 tbsp water)
- Prepare as needed Fondant of Different Colours-orange,white and green
- Get 2 tbsp Corn Flour
Tres leches—or "three milks" in Spanish—is just a very moist cake that's enriched with two forms of concentrated milk and rich cream. The full dairy and vanilla flavors are a favorite in the southern U. Try serving this cake topped with a fresh berry or tropical fruit compote. Instructions to make Tri -Colour Cake:
- For Sponge - Firstly, Take a large bowl.Add flour,powdered sugar,baking soda,baking powder,soft Butter,condensed milk.
- Take another bowl.Add water & vanilla Essence and white vinegar in it and pour it in the large bowl.
- Then mix this for about 2 mins and make a smooth batter.
- Now divide this batter in 3 different bowls.
- Add Saffron (Orange) colour in 1 bowl. Keep the Second Bowl as it is. Do not add any colour. In Third bowl add Green Colour. And mix them well.
- Now, Take 3 different round shaped moulds. Apply some oil on all the moulds and place a parchment paper in each.
- Now, pour the batter in 3 different moulds. Tap each mould for atleast 10 times to remove any air bubbles.
- While adding the colors in the batter, Pre - Heat the oven @ 180 °C for about 10 mins.
- After Pre - Heating the oven bake these Cakes @ 180 °C for about 25-30 mins.
- Now take the cakes out of the oven and cool it for about half an hour.
- Then take all the Cakes out on plate alternatively.
- Now take 2 cups (200 ml each) Non - Dairy whipping cream. Beat it properly for about 10-12 mints.
- Now take a Cake Board, apply some cream on it. Keep the Green Sponge,apply some sugar syrup on it. Apply some whipping Cream on it. Then take the 2 nd White Sponge and keep it on the whipping Cream. Apply some sugar syrup on it and put some whipping cream on it. Then take the 3 rd Saffron (Orange) Sponge. Keep it on the whipping cream. Put sugar syrup on it. And apply some whipping cream on it and cover the sides of the cake with whipping cream as well. (Crumb Coating Is Done.)
- Keep the Cake in the Fridge for about half an hour.
- After half an hour, take the Cake out of the Fridge. Apply some whipping cream with the help of Palette Knife on it. Now, Keep it in the fridge.
- Now take Fondant (Sugar Paste) of Saffron, White and Green Colour.
- Apply 2 tbsp Corn Flour on the marble.With the help of rolling pin, roll the sugar paste of each color on the marble as shown in the picture.
- Now, take any nozzle of ur choice. Cut the circles of Sugar Paste, as shown in the picture.
- Now cut these circles from the middle as shown in the picture.
- Take the semi-circles and keep it one on another, as shown in the picture.
- Take a Toothpick, place it on 1 st Semi- Circle & roll it till the end. And then remove the toothpick from the center & apply some water at the end point of the semi - circle to make it stick properly.
- Make the flowers of 3 shades (Saffron, White & Green) in the same manner.
- Take some Sugar paste of all the shades and make small balls of it.
- Now take 2 tbsp Neutral Glaze in two bowls each. Add some water in each. Till you find it in pouring consistency. Put Saffron colour in 1 bowl and Green Colour in other bowl.
- Now take 2 piping bags. Fill the 1 st bag with saffron glaze and 2 and bag with Green Glaze.
- Take out the Cake from fridge. Place flowers at the center of the cake as shown in the picture. Make straight lines of Saffron and Green Glaze and put balls on the cake as shown in the picture.
- Your Tri - Colour Cake is ready to Serve.
